Day #12: Jasper Revisions & Some BIG News!

Alright, I got a bit busy this last weekend, but I did write a bit. Just didn't take time to blog my sentences. And then I was even busier at the beginning of the week with some sewing I had to get done.

I needed to make two more of these skirts. This one was for
my wee girl for her birthday.

But, wooh, got that done and I'm back to the writing thing. I met with my writing group tonight where we had a brainstorm session. We each took a turn to hash out some problems were having with our revisions. I needed to vent about an issue I'm having and those girls helped me pin down the direction I need to go with one of the characters. It was great. And there was some Asian Salad, too. So, it was a good night.

And even if they were lucky and Kass didn’t find their hiding spot, the fire toads would send the orphanage up in flames.
Wait. That last part didn’t sound so bad.

So, on to my Big News....

Lindsey Leavitt, author of the Princess for Hire series, Sean Griswold's Head and, coming out next year, Going Vintage is coming to Cedar City on September 15th to do a writing workshop.

Brilliant, right? I'm pretty excited about it. Because not only is she smart and super talented, this chickadee is hilarious. You don't want to miss this! Also there will be a few other authors joining the show. I'll share the details when everything is all ironed out.

In the mean time, get that date on your calendar and plan on coming to the workshop. You do not want to miss it!
