U is for Understand

"The most important thing your character values-if you understand this you will better understand how they will feel if they lose it." -Kim Justesen

What is it your character values most? What about your minor characters? Or your villain?

  2. Have a great day!

I need to figure out what my antagonist values. I know my protagonist backwards and forwards. My antag? Not so much yet.

  3. I think antagonists are generally able to be written for me. Their collective main values can be understood in terms of two things, either PRIDE or GREED. From there it is easy.
