Yep. I acquired a new skill recently. Wonky french braiding.
I've been wanting to learn to french braid for awhile now. Finally it hit me....I should look it up on YouTube! And I found this video....
And although I need to practice a quite a bit more, I'm pretty proud of how they turned out....
Zoe was so excited about her hair that she instructed each brother when they came home to "look at my french braids!" and her daddy, too. So cute.
I didn't know you didn't know how to french braid! I would have shown you. It looks like you got it now though. One of these days (maybe when you teach me about Etsy?) I'll show you how to do another type of french braid that's pretty cool. It's called a waterfall braid I think.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks very nice. I try to do that to my own hair every once in a while (i.e., when I'm running out of time and don't have time to blow dry), but it's hard to do on my own hair. One side I can do nicely, but the other side always gives me fits. Oh, well! Zoe's hair looks really cute that way. But that girl could shave her head and still be cute!
ReplyDeleteKendra....yes, it's true. I am severely lacking in the braiding area. A waterfall braid sounds awesome. You'll definitely have to show me.
ReplyDeleteMellissa....you're so sweet. I'm not sure anyone really looks good with a shaved head....
"Wonky Style" is totally my style!! Thanks for posting this! I need major help with it. I need to find a tutorial on braiding across the front of your hair line (your bangs), it's so tricky!
